Three Baptism's, Leaving London, New Mission Calling as Zone Leader in a new but familiar area o

Hello all! What a weekend we have had here. It is up there with the best weekends of my mission so far. We had the baptism of Noela on Saturday, the baptisms on Diane and Ingrid on Sunday, Skype call with family on Sunday, and some exciting news from transfers!

Baptismal services are always so special. Noela was looking forward to her day for over a year. She started her journey in investigating the Church in Leicester, where she met missionaries there. She was ready to be baptized there, but because of a change in jobs she had to move down here to London. There have been many missionaries to teach her here and in Leicester, and I just happened to be the lucky one to see her get baptized.

The following day we had the baptisms of Diane and her daughter Ingrid. This was also such a great experience! I got the privilege of baptising Ingrid. What stood out to me the most was what was said after. Diane had said she never realised how much her life could change for the better in just six weeks. Six weeks ago she decided to take the leap of faith and request our visit, and since then she has seen all aspects of her life change for the better. I have seen it in both of them as well, seeing them become more truly happy. This has been such an amazing experience to be a part of this path for them.

Sadly, there comes a time when we have to leave. For me, that time is now. Yesterday is "Moves Call Monday", and mid-day we got a phone call from President Stevens. I have gotten pretty used to getting phone calls from him, but getting a call from him or the Assistants on Moves Call Monday is always terrifying. You get a special phone call when they have a new special assignment for you. Some of these are District Leader, Trainer, Zone Leader, etc... Wednesday I will be leaving to go back to the Northampton Zone where I was in Bedford, this time to the city of Northampton its self in the Dustin ward. I have been called as a new Zone Leader. As a District Leader I worked with 6-10 missionaries, now I will have a shared responsibility with my companion, Elder Murri, for 30.

So today I pack my bags and head out tomorrow morning to Northampton.

I will miss London. Though it is crazy here, I have grown to love it.

I will miss riding the bus and tube, seeing all the crazy stuff in the alley behind our flat, the ward members, and all the people I've met.

I'm moving back to the countryside with a car, so a big change again.

Living in London has really expanded my love and appreciation of different cultures, though most of England now is a melting pot of everything. So off I go!

Cheers!
